Description
In the Armorican countryside the Korrigans, sprightly fairy spirits, dance at night. In dark caves they harvest juniper berries and wild beechnuts, and distill barley into spellbinding liqueurs, spicing them with saffron, musking them with ambrette, and lavishing them with lavender. During the solstice festivals they drink their elixirs out of leather pouches, causing bodies and souls to excitedly rejoice.
